Description

Wayward Terran Frontier Zero Falls — a sandbox on the conquest of outer space, where you will have complete freedom in actions and opportunities. You have a definite goal for accomplishment, and how you will achieve it depends only on the decisions you make. For a start, start building your own, functioning spacecraft, on which you will begin your activity. After the first item from the list is completed, go to study the vast expanses of the universe, where you will uncover secrets, find useful items and resources, and will not do without fabulous battles with rivals of varying degrees of difficulty. The combat system here is well thought out. Strips of life here just can not see. All that you have is a crew that, as a result of death, will pull you along and have to start all over again.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

  1. No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.

  2. Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.

  3. Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

New modules and techFirst of all the obvious headline should be: Tier 3 is finally in the game. So people who care about the ship design aspect of the game need not worry, there\'s stuff in this update for you as well. Not all new modules added are T3, and many modules have been rebalanced or retuned or debugged. Tier 3 tech drops in the gauntlet end-game zone. Here\'s a short list of some prominent additions:7 tier 3 ship hulls that can be unlocked with fully T3 mapped interiors5 unlockable tier 3 reactors with significantly better power outputtier 3 versions of energy turret mounts covering the various turret sizes3 new capacitors with better energy storage densitya new tier 3 shield emitter that is small and convenient to add to your designs as well as being efficient. Event small ships can have shields!5 new T3 turret typesa new beam controller type for making even more powerful beam weapon designs5 new tier 3 bridge modules with more active system slots than T2 bridges of similar size3 new tier 3 engines with excellent thrust for their sizeT3 hallway components serve the same purpose as normal hallway components, but these ones make your ship look spiffy and futuristic. They also provide structural support when placed making them a net increase to the sturdiness of your ship designs instead of a detriment. I love min-maxers and theory-crafters.Both T3 hallways, and T3 conduits can be unlocked simply by advancing your research progress into any other T3 modules.

0.8.2.00 Hollowed Centipede patch is live today, here\'s some highlights followed by the full patch notes.Highlights:The logistics ship spawn menu has finally been overhauled.Ship profiles are now in the database and cloud synced. Old existing profiles aren\'t technically deleted, but they are no longer compatible and will not show up in game.Significantly reduced monster difficulty at early levelsThe Torment special event ship is now in the gameModule shape, meta-data, and artwork is now accessible to mod makers (though not yet via steam workshop) check the content folder to see where module data is loaded if you want to tinkerLots of optimizations and polishFull notes:significantly lowered the energy cost of activating shield boostersfixed shield booster tool tip energy cost values which were inaccurateship max speed in travel drive was doubled. We technically had not changed it until now, but when we fixed a bug that was updating movement twice it reduced actual movement by half, and when we updated the numeric display of travel speed to represent actual world size units instead of pixels it cut the number in half visually, so for all intents and purposes it fealt like the speed had been cut in half. Doubling the max speed should make it feel \"correct\" based on how it used to look and feel.unoccupied ships no longer turn off their shields, because shields are magic blue pixels and we all know the government of the universe physics enforcement comittee considers those to be a conserved quantitya number of module types now regain all energy when a ship gets its ammunition reloaded such as turrets, capacitors, and enginesfixed a potential crash when trying to unlock a turret which is already unlockednerfed monster lair\'s health(30%)nerfed monsters health(16%), damage(29%), and speed(6%)research complete notifications have been made more precise to have unique alerts depending on the unlock type
