TLW takes place on Earth. Events take place on a lost island. In this game the user controls a person. According to the plot, the main character ended up in a Japanese research center, where some kind of disaster occurred. After an emergency, the facility where scientists tried to grow and study ancient predators became abandoned. The hero found himself locked in the same location with dinosaurs and ended up in the middle of the wild food chain. He is helped by a stranger who communicates with him via radio. The protagonist needs to explore the territory of the abandoned institute, collect useful information and find out what really happened here. Only after this will he be able to get out of there.
