Description

The Banner Saga 3 will add Etenal Arena mode to the game, reported Stoic Studio. This is the last goal of the Kickstarter campaign of the game. Eternal Arena will allow players to create their own maps, set up rules and enemies for special combat arenas. In addition, weekly tasks and a leaderboard will appear so that gamers can compete with each other. The Banner Saga 3 is the last part in the series, it was released on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and smartphones (iOS and Android). At this, Stoic Studio has completed its epic tactical RPG trilogy. Although the studio hinted that it could continue to develop the universe.

This release is standalone and includes all previously released content.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.
