Description
The relationship between Open Roads main characters Tess Devine and her mother has always been complicated. But one autumn they discover a cache in their house, where there were bundles of old notes and letters. The papers provide some clue that inside are ancient family secrets, the deeds of previous residents, and treasure hidden near the Canadian border. The central characters embark on an unforgettable journey, but little do they know that they will discover a much darker secret than they imagine. Opal and Tess venture to explore abandoned family territory and a long-forgotten past. Among the ruins, they may discover buried memories that the mother tried to forget forever. But the heroines are not only trying to search for the truth, but also to get to know each other better, improving their relationship a little.
