Description
SENTRY throws you into the heart of a desperate struggle. As a lone defender aboard a besieged spaceship, you’ll face relentless waves of alien aggressors. In this first-person shooter, you’ll have to think strategically and act quickly to protect your ship. The enemy attacks various subsystems of the ship, trying to disable critical functions or gain access to new areas. You must prioritize targets, choosing between eliminating small threats and holding the front line against larger attacks. Every decision has weight, determining the course of the battle. Your main weapon is the ability to handle long-range weapons. However, victory depends not only on shooting. The game equips you with a powerful arsenal of traps and turrets. Place them in strategic locations to create screens, direct enemy movements, and unleash automatic firepower. When the situation gets dire, environmental destruction becomes your last resort.

About This Game
Sealing explosive hatches or manipulating the environment will allow you to gain precious moments to regroup and strengthen your defenses. SENTRY is forging its own path in the action-defense genre. You are a formidable force armed with a variety of tools, fighting against smart enemies who adapt and use their advantage. Defeat does not mean the end, it restructures the campaign, opening up new challenges and strategic opportunities. The experience unfolds over several multi-part campaigns. Upgrades earned over the course of a campaign expand your capabilities in future campaigns. Whether you’re aiming for victory or simply enjoying a desperate defense, the gameplay offers an exciting single-player experience that can be shared with a co-pilot in co-op mode. In the face of seemingly insurmountable odds, persevere, adapt, and prevail.

Hi everyone,Thanks for your feedback and bug reports on the latest Major Update. This patch (version 0.8.26715) has the following changes:Fixed an issue in co-op where if there was extreme lag the host machine would have moved the pursuer to its next node before the client had even started, resulting in it getting stuck in this state.Changed hazards so that they no longer accumulate over the course of a sector. This means they last for one battle only. There have been lots of comments around hazards and from your feedback it seemed like making minor adjustments to individual ones wouldn\'t solve the core issue, which was how they would stack on top of one another - particularly if you were unlucky enough to roll one you didn\'t like early in a sector.Based on our testing, changing hazards to now last for one combat makes them more of a per-battle \"spike\" as opposed to a sector long slog and makes them less challenging, especially as you near the end of a sector.Getting this type of feedback is why we\'re in Early Access, so we appreciate you taking the time to provide it.Hopefully you\'ll agree this change will be a step in the right direction and combine well with our future work on this system, which will entail both individual hazard balancing suitable to this new format and new hazards that provide a gameplay twist as opposed to debuffing the player - but as ever please let us know what you think.
