About This Game
Cryptmaster transports players to a unique RPG where typing drives a dark, comedic journey through a necromancer’s crypt. You lead four forgotten heroes, revived by the eccentric Cryptmaster, to ascend eerie dungeons and recover their past. Each encounter, from rap battles to riddle skulls, hinges on your word choices. The latest version of the game, launched in 2024, features retro 3D graphics and a lively score, immersing you in a surreal quest.
At its heart, Cryptmaster mixes word based combat with adventure puzzles. Now, my thrall will explain how to play and what is new in the taverns. Hello, it is the Cryptmaster\'s favorite minion! One day they will remember my name! Whatever, as some of you may know, is the premiere card-word game down in the underworld. Please don’t tell the people in the overworld or they might try to monetize it and turn it into loot boxes or throw a battlepass on there. They can get very scary up there. Anywho, throughout your adventures you can challenge people to a game of Whatever by asking them “Whatever.†Only the lowest life would refuse to play against you. Once you draw your letter tabs, you will also draw cards that have powerful effects to help you win the game. Before you start the game you can swap tabs or cards that you have drawn to gain a better start.
