Beyond These Stars is a unique city-building strategy game that takes you on a journey through the galaxy in a very unexpected way. You’ll build a city for your people, search for answers to questions about your origins, and develop deep relationships with the world around you. After uncertain times, the people of Peoples find themselves on the back of Quea, a lone space whale traveling the universe. Building a city on the back of a sensitive creature presents its challenges, but as you develop relationships and travel across the galaxy, great opportunities will open up for you to explore and expand the boundaries of your people.

Meet other species, monitor Peoples needs and desires, and search for the truth about your ancestors and the space whales. Now you need to develop your civilization and relationship with Qua to overcome the challenges of the larger universe, making the most of limited resources and space on your back. Choose whether you set up mass production, sacrificing relationships with the host, or use it primarily as a home, collecting resources from your settlements whenever possible. Be wary of pollution, which can not only irritate Peoples but the whale as well, and consider approaching building the city in a sustainable manner to maintain Peoples' happiness without ruining their future.
