Tunnel Escape is a light exploration RPG set in a zombie-infested city. Developed by Elzee, the game combines action and strategy, featuring intense gunplay, turn-based combat, crafting, and a deep skill system. Players control Beatrice, who, while escaping an infection, discovers a secret biological lab. The game offers a diverse arsenal of weapons and skills, including unique guns and throwables, complemented by hundreds of active and passive abilities. Enemies range from zombies to mutated creatures and weapon machines, and each stage culminates in a challenging boss fight. The game features hand-drawn animation and art, with meticulous attention to detail in the characters expressions and movements.

Random events, such as encounters with other characters and loot finds, make each playthrough unique. A crafting system allows players to create and upgrade items, adding strategic depth.
