Game trailer: The Last Plague Blight
Screenshots
Description
The Last Plague Blight is a survival simulator in an open world that is randomly generated. The user controls one character and watches what is happening from above. The camera is tied to the hero. It is allowed to rotate. The indie project uses a medieval setting with a slight touch of fantasy. The events of the game Blight take place in a world where the Blight exists. This is the name of a mysterious disease. It engulfed the protagonist’s village and left only ruins from the settlement. The main character was able to escape, but he only bought time for himself. This rot gradually grows, capturing new territory every day. The former villager found himself alone in the desert, hungry and tired. He must find a way to end this disease.
The developers focused on realism. The hero, suffering from hunger and thirst, can only carry a few things at a time. He is forced to boil water and cook food before eating. And this process does not happen quickly. The liquid must be stored in bowls and other containers. If it is transported carelessly, it may spill out of the dishes. Cutting down trees and other activities spend the reserve of strength. It must be restored with the help of rest and sleep. Here it is also necessary to fight wild animals and protect yourself from adverse weather conditions. There is an opportunity to craft items, as well as engage in construction. There are many types of raw materials. These materials also require primary processing.

Update v0.10.3 Another set of fixes and improvements for the game! One fairly big change is a reworked sun position calculation across multiple frames to reduce amount of shadow \"flickering\" seen when the position is updated every frame. A completely new cloud rendering system was added as a result of this new sun position change to make sure the shadows continue to look right.Additions:Reworked sun position to only be set every few frames rather than every frame to reduce amount of flickering you may see around the edges of the shadows, especially at lower settingsReworked cloud shadow rendering to take the new sun positioning into accountAdded ability to chop up dead logs to receive scrap woodAdded new input to switch between top-down and third-person perspectives (only with keyboard/mouse, default key: H)Added smoked fish recipesFixes:Fixed third-person mode field of view (FOV) being incorrectly zoomed out after the character customization update (v0.10.0)Fixed wrong terrain height calculation near chunk borders that would cause terrain levelling to creates spikes along these bordersFixed smoked item tooltips showing \"hardening\" percentage instead of smoked percentageFixed female character dress behavior when walkingFixed creatures getting into a state where they run around the player without being able to hit themFixed potential hang when starting or loading a game with large view distance on MacOSPerformance:Removed superfluous texture sampling calls in terrain rendering to increase framerate a small amountBalance:Reduced stamina cost when using shovelsOther changes:Increased environmental brightness in various cloudy conditionsIncreased sky brightness below the horizon (if on a mountain or hill)
Update v0.9.4 and Third Person Mode! This is only present in games started in 0.9.4.
