Description
Munch is an action RPG developed by Mac n Cheese Games that combines real-time combat with a heavy metal fantasy theme. Players control Chaosborn, a headless bat from hell who wields the power of heavy metal to destroy enemies and free the metal gods. The game features 13 playable monsters, each inspired by a different metal genre, with unique abilities and theme songs. The gameplay revolves around devouring enemies to increase in size and strength, consuming elements to mutate new limbs, and choosing how to evolve your monster. Each playthrough offers a unique set of encounters and mutations, allowing for varied strategy and replayability.
Players can collect Chaos Echoes to continually upgrade their monster, providing a sense of progression. The games signature feature is its heavy metal soundtrack, composed by Bryant Clifford Meyer and dedicated to various metal subgenres. Munch is a unique combination of RPG elements and roguelite mechanics, wrapped in a metal-inspired package.
