In TankHead, we have to drive a tank through a post-apocalyptic wasteland called the ESA. However, the hero himself does not sit in the tank — he controls it remotely through a special drone «Igla». It is understandable: after some strange cataclysm, it is dangerous for people to be in these places. And this thing with remote control through drones is the only way for people to explore the ESA. All other options after the cataclysm turned out to be, to put it mildly, not very successful. Now people «project» their consciousness into robots and try to collect at least something useful from what is left of the old world. In the game, you need to get to some Highest Point, but this will clearly not be easy.

Along the way, you constantly meet other pilots in their combat vehicles and strange local inhabitants. Well, the most interesting thing begins in battles you can aim at specific parts of opponents and shoot them. Actually, this is the main way to get new parts for your tank. Knocked out someone else’s car, collected what you liked from it and you can put it on yourself. Unnecessary things are simply sent to the scrap heap. And there is a lot to modify here: weapons are different, and armor can be changed, and wheels with an engine. If you think about it, everything here revolves around constant skirmishes for resources. If you meet someone on your way, it means there will be a fight. And then it’s a matter of luck: either you will dismantle someone for parts, or you.
