Description

Sid Meiers Civilization VI Gathering Storm is the second major addition to a global strategy that will send players into the near future. Now the game will be available advanced technology, engineering projects and participation in the World Congress. And the decisions of the players will affect the ecology of the planet, which will be followed by natural disasters in the form of: floods, storms or volcanic eruptions. Gathering Storm will bring new civilizations, wonders of the world, buildings and improvements to the game.

Addition is intended to make the game world unstable due to the addition of unique environmental conditions, including storms, volcanoes, floods, droughts and other troubles for life. Strategic resources have also received special applications: they now serve as a source of fuel for power plants and are used to produce electricity in cities. Gathering Storm also introduced a world congress, a new era of the future, nine rulers, eight powers, 7 wonders of the world and 7 natural wonders, 18 units, 15 improvements, 9 buildings, 5 districts, 2 sets of cities, 9 technologies and 10 social institutions. Spying has also been improved.

This release is standalone and includes all content and DLC from our previous releases and updates.

About This Game

Along with the addition, the game receives important resources that the city will need. Establishing a city on a new continent, get a new unit. Coal and iron mines accumulate and generate resources. Perhaps they can even trade. The game will present buildings that generate energy, consuming oil, coal and uranium. Floods will destroy entire armies, settlements, but after them, you can re-start the arrangement of the territory. Depending on what kind of fuel and which policy you choose, such consequences will be expected on the land. Air temperature, water level, etc. may increase.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.
Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.
After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.
Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

The steam_api64.dll and other files from the CODEX folder are the heart of the release — if your antivirus removes them, restore them from quarantine and exclude the game folder.
CODEX releases run fully offline. For safety, block the game .exe in your firewall so it never tries to reach Steam.
Errors about missing d3dx9_43.dll or MSVCP140.dll mean the runtimes were skipped — install everything from the disc's Redist or _CommonRedist folder.

Update v1.0.0.341:[NOTE]* Unless otherwise noted, items in the list below are assumed to be Gathering Storm ruleset only.[FEATURES] [ALL GAME VERSIONS] Red Death Multiplayer Scenario General notes* If you still have a Civilian unit, then you are still in the game. Once your last Civilian is killed, you will have been eliminated. Be the last remaining player with a Civilian to win.The Red Death is the radioactive mass that is consuming the planet. A Safe Zone ring will appear on the map. Periodically this ring will shrink. Keep your units inside the ring to avoid the Red Death.On the top-left on the in-game screen is the Red Death tracker. The left portion tells the player how many turns until the ring shrinks, and the right-hand portion tells the player how much damage units will take if they end their turn inside the Red Death.* Red Death damage increases as the game progresses.When the ring shrinks, the Red Death will advance each turn until it reaches the ring.
