FINAL FANTASY 7 REBIRTH picks up where its predecessor left off and takes players on a journey beyond Midgar. This installment invites Cloud and his companions to venture out into a vast world filled with new challenges, characters, and mysteries. The open world offers a rich, seamless experience where exploration is as important as the combat itself. Players will travel through different regions, each filled with hidden treasures, side quests, and mini-games. These elements combine to create an environment that constantly encourages curiosity, offering a satisfying mix of discovery and engagement.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s gameplay mechanics bring several new additions to the game. One of these is the introduction of World Intel, a system that allows players to gather important information about their surroundings and the enemies they encounter. This adds an extra layer of strategy, forcing players to consider not only their immediate surroundings, but the world at large and its history. Another notable feature is the Proto Relics that can be found throughout the journey, offering players the opportunity to enhance their characters abilities. These relics are tied into the overall narrative, providing context and history that deepens the world-building. Character customization plays a central role, with systems such as Part Level and Folios introduced to allow players to customize their characters.
