Reality Break

Reality Break is a sci-fi RPG where you play as a mercenary who gains reality-altering abilities, drawing you into a complex plot filled with mysterious forces and time-altering consequences. The games defining feature is its innovative Rewrite mechanic, which allows you to alter nearly every aspect of gameplay, from upgrading gear and unlocking mythical abilities to adjusting mission difficulty and time constraints. The roguelite structure features multiple timeline resets, each of which awards Reality Points to unlock talents that permanently alter the games mechanics and impact future runs via a metagame system.

Core gameplay systems include real-time analysis for finding items, the Codex for collecting powerful set bonuses, and ship customization with upgrades like drones. As you progress through timelines and increasingly manipulate reality, you will uncover shocking secrets about your abilities while facing increasingly dangerous threats from forces that have taken notice of your reality-altering activities. The game places a strong emphasis on strategic decision-making, as each reality alteration has consequences that affect both the current situation and future possibilities.
