Sancticide

Sancticide is a third-person RPG with rogue-lite elements set in a dark, twisted version of the biblical apocalypse. You play as Ezechiel, a tortured recruit of the Sin Collector Corps, navigating a world where death is just a new beginning. The game combines old-school arena fighting mechanics with modern action gameplay, with a combat system focused on spatial awareness and interaction with the environment. The core gameplay revolves around fast-paced melee combat, where you can manipulate the environment, using debris and hellish hazards to your advantage. You’ll wield both holy melee weapons and unholy ranged gear, augmented with «Purple Powers» — divine abilities that allow you to manipulate objects, increase survivability, and alter time.

Character progression offers deep customization through various skills and weapon mods, while the unique Kosher system affects quest progression, gear selection, and area accessibility. You’ll face a variety of enemies, including Sinners, Debtors, and Proselytes, each with unique movement patterns and weaknesses that require a strategic approach. The game’s persistent world and rogue-lite elements mean that every death serves as a learning opportunity, allowing players to refine their strategies and learn more about the apocalypse that has been stopped. Sancticide is in Early Access and combines challenging combat, a rich story, and roguelike elements in a unique biblical post-apocalyptic setting.
