Primal Hearts 2 takes place at Ainoshima Academy, where the arrival of a new student causes a new wave of tension. The story centers on a transfer student caught between two student councils: Gekkai and Tendou. Both factions, representing opposing student interests, are embroiled in an ongoing proxy war, and the protagonist’s vote may tip the scales. The tension is palpable, as both sides try to win the favor of the newcomer to ensure their own dominance at the school. The tradition-bound Gekkai council is led by Alicetia, the president who struggles to communicate despite her best efforts.

The younger Tendou council is led by Usagi, a former model turned idol who appears level-headed but is actually more complex. Alongside them are characters like Mashiro, the capable vice president of Gekkai, and Tateha, the cheerful secretary of Tendou, who work behind the scenes to manage the chaos. The protagonist of Primal Hearts 2, as the 777th student, becomes the center of attention. The student body watches every decision made, knowing that this student’s voice may finally lead to a solution after years of deadlock. This setup forces the narrative to move forward, and the protagonist to try to navigate this complex, high-stakes environment. As the story progresses, the situation becomes even more complex, alliances shift, and personal connections are formed.
