Chorus of Carcosa

Chorus of Carcosa follows a sculptor who finds himself in an unstable environment filled with lurking threats. The environment is constantly changing, distorting perception and reality as the protagonist navigates unfamiliar corridors. Silence becomes a tool for survival, as noise attracts the unwanted attention of unknown creatures. The confined space becomes more unpredictable with every step, requiring caution and awareness.

Encounters with disturbing sights challenge the sculptor’s common sense, forcing him to struggle between flight and submission. Inspired by the horror fiction of R.W. Chambers, Chorus of Carcosa explores themes of psychological distress and reality distortion. An unexpected visit from a neighbor covered in blood marks the beginning of an irreversible descent into mystery. Every open door leads to uncertainty, as the once familiar apartment building transforms into something unrecognizable.

The sense of control weakens as the setting twists and turns, forcing the sculptor to question whether the horror is external or self-inflicted. The tension is relentless, leaving no moment of certainty or respite. Stealth is paramount, requiring calculated movements to avoid detection. Shadows provide some concealment, but they also hide hidden dangers. The lack of traditional combat mechanics increases vulnerability, reinforcing the need for careful exploration. Clues scattered throughout the environment hint at deeper truths, though they prove difficult to interpret.
