Description
The game The Sinking City unfolds in America in the 1920s. A small town called Oakmont, in Massachusetts, was subject to a local cataclysm. Suddenly, the deluge slowly began to grow throughout the town. Most of the townspeople were evacuated at the first opportunity. However, a number of people remained in their homes — representatives of the city government, indigenous inhabitants, insane and other narrow-minded. In Oakmont, everything became aggravated also because strangers began to appear in the city, who found new houses on the flooded streets and trapped control over them. True, their appearance in the city is not a mere coincidence of circumstances, but a clearly planned act of action.

About This Game
According to strangers, the flood is a harbinger of terrible events that cannot be allowed. However, our protagonist is a private investigator who came to Oakmond not only at the request of the client, but also for his own reasons. At the very beginning, the hero’s motives are unknown, they are revealed in the process of passing.
The Sinking City is, first and foremost, a detective story, which means that all the protagonist’s finds must be used in the investigation process, both in the central plot and in the minor ones, which appear in the process of a detailed study of Oukmont and acquaintance with ordinary people and newly arrived. The game will not lead you by the hand or in a walk around the city itself, or during investigations.

We are happy to announce that the latest version of the Sinking City is out now on Steam, free for all existing owners. Please keep in mind that your old saves aren’t compatible with this version, but you can keep playing the old one until Feb 28, 2024.All the owners of the Necronomicon edition will get the DLC for free. It will be released within 24 hours. Due to certain limitations, we were forced to add the DLC directly to the Investigator Pack, rather than as separate items.
