Heroes of Mount Dragon

Heroes of Mount Dragon is a side scrolling beat em up designed for cooperative group play. Up to four players can team up in sessions locally or online to complete the adventure mode. There is a starting roster of 4 characters to choose from, where each game hero has a special fighting style and the ability to temporarily become a dragon. The story takes place in the world of na, which is on the brink of chaos after the disappearance of the Sky Dragon.

These fighters, known as Dragon Souls, wander through lands full of monsters to find out the cause of what happened. The gameplay in Heroes of Mount Dragon is tied to performing combos of attacks against clusters of enemies while moving around locations. Hero development involves unlocking upgrades that help cope with stronger opponents. In addition to the cooperative campaign, this title contains competitive battles, where up to four people can face each other.

The goal in such fights is to remain the only one surviving. The curse mechanics introduce an element of randomness into multiplayer confrontations. Players can activate these effects to interfere with their opponents' actions right during a fight. A curse can shrink a fighter, reverse their controls, or turn them into a frog for a short period of time. This functionality is needed to disrupt the opponent’s rhythm and change the outcome of the fight. The visual style of the project is achieved by placing two-dimensional, hand-drawn art in a three-dimensional environment.
