Islets Defense

Islets Defense combines turn-based defense with settlement building, where the goal is to build a village to support the castle. Every action taken, from constructing a structure to collecting materials, brings enemy waves closer to the fortifications. A turn consists of choosing one of four cards, which determines the operation to be performed. The position of these cards changes their effect: the rightmost one provides a stronger result, after which it ends up on the left edge of the deck, which requires planning the sequence of moves.

Resource management is a core element in Islets Defense. The player must build special buildings to supply towers with food, as well as to obtain wood and stone for improvements. This economic base is created specifically to protect against the advancing slimes that appear from the wilds. The kingdom map is initially covered in fog, so reconnaissance actions are required to open the terrain, discover new deposits of materials and find chests with items.

The campaign consists of 15 stages, each of which is located in a different biome and contains modifiers that change the rules of the level. The project offers 30 types of buildings, many of which have up to 6 different development paths. This choice allows you to create settlements where the location and purpose of buildings together create a defense. The game world consists of 20 types of tiles scattered across locations, and each tile offers a unique interaction that the player can integrate into their tactics.
