Description
The slasher game DmC Devil May Cry created a whole branch and direction of games in the new industry. The main character lives in Limbo City, in a small van, to which he became attached due to lack of funds. A girl with demonic powers comes to him and she warns Dante, the main character, that a change in life and danger awaits him soon. A minute later, the protagonist finds himself in a demonic world, where they immediately begin to hunt him. After we kill the first demon, he tells us that Dante has been found, and now he cannot escape.
The next day is spent on Kat taking Dante to Vergil, the twin brother of the main character. He tells him that their parents are a demon and an angel, whose union could not exist on the planet. The main goal of the two brothers and the demonic girl is not to destroy the barrier that they act as, remaining the only Nephilim in the world. The Order organization invites Dante to join while he hears a story about his father, who erased the children’s memories and placed them among ordinary people so that they could live with dignity and not be found by demons. As a result, the protagonist decides to avenge his father and joins the Order.
Gameplay DmC Devil May Cry is a classic slasher that gave birth to an entire genre. Each new location is presented as a platformer — the exits from the room are closed, and the hero does not go further until he kills all the demons. The game has well-thought-out bosses, and their difficulty increases each time Dante encounters them in turn several times. After each boss, a new weapon drops — these can be blades, a sword or a semblance of a blade, but you can always use demonic whips to attack or move. Each boss has its own «weak spots» to which the boss must be brought out.
