Para Eyes

Para Eyes places the player in the shoes of a security officer monitoring several video feeds during night shifts. The main task is to carefully study the broadcasts to detect discrepancies in the environment or sudden events. The user must detect and then record the observed deviations through a simple report system with a click of the mouse. Long periods of observation require constant concentration on details from different angles displayed on the monitor.

In Para Eyes, successfully completing shifts with accurate recording of detected changes helps progress. This core gameplay includes elements that affect the psychological state of the observer; control of this state is important in order to endure the assigned working hours. The nature of the recorded oddities varies greatly: from barely noticeable displacements of objects to scenes of outright physical destruction or harm to the body, which creates an oppressive atmosphere of the project.

Exploration of different observation zones is available through unlockable locations, including a shuffle mode, offering a random set of cameras for each session. Rewards earned for effectively identifying anomalies serve as in-game resources. These resources are used in the research mechanic to gain access to a greater variety of possible incident types for future shifts. This mechanic also allows you to unlock items, although their exact uses may vary. Increasing the difficulty level adds challenges: monitoring more simultaneous video feeds and dealing with oddities that occur more quickly.
