Becoming Saint

Becoming Saint invites you to found your own faith in the setting of 14th century Italy. The player's goal is to gain the status of a saint, which will require creating your own flock and spreading influence by force. The process involves converting residents of city-states to your faith and capturing territories throughout the Apennine Peninsula. Success in this endeavor depends on the fanaticism of your followers and strategic talent. Military action takes place on small maps, where followers clash with opponents. The outcome of clashes in Becoming Saint is determined by the correct selection of units from 16 available varieties, each with its own characteristics and synergies.

The environment provides tactical advantages, and special abilities allow you to strengthen allies and weaken enemies. Direct control over any unit is provided for the implementation of complex maneuvers. During the passage, decisions made determine the political and spiritual characteristics of the cult. This directly affects the economy, the composition of followers and the overall expansion strategy. Even the failure and death of the protagonist are part of the gameplay, opening up new challenges for his next incarnation. Each subsequent rebirth is an opportunity to spread your word even wider and faster, to enter history forever.
