Description
Echoes of the Architects puts players in charge of a customizable army in real-time conflict. Victory is achieved by constructing modular, programmable units designed to perform a variety of tasks. Movement, weapon, and support components are combined into unique builds. The resulting machines execute pre-set commands during battle.
Success depends on the ability to anticipate your opponent's moves and counter them with adaptable troop formations and precise tactical maneuvers in dynamic skirmishes. In Echoes of the Architects, humanity's technological advancement has become its own instrument of destruction. A silent entity known as the Architects has turned humanity's creations against their creators, causing the fall of entire worlds. With Earth left in a war-torn state, gamers command the last of their forces in a desperate fight. Every deployment is a calculated risk in the struggle for control of the galaxy.
The game's plot hints at the hidden purpose of the enemy faction's existence - a truth that can change the course of the final battle. Progression unlocks new modules and tactical options that allow the army to continually evolve. The standoff spans multiple planets, each offering unique environments and operational challenges that test strategic flexibility. The game's combat system allows battles to be paused and provides high replayability due to its asynchronous structure.
