Plastic Battlegrounds

Plastic Battlegrounds is a virtual reality combat simulator dedicated to the warfare of toy soldiers. Players construct the battlefield by placing squads, vehicles, and stationary fortifications from a growing list to create a unique tactical environment. The project offers a dual perspective, allowing the user to either directly participate in the battle as a soldier, or observe the miniature conflict in the form of a life-size figure.

Tools for creating the perfect battle in Plastic Battlegrounds:

• Construct battlefields with the placement of squads and vehicles.
• Switch between first-person and aerial views.
• Control ground vehicles and drones.
• Destroy the environment and block structures.
• Create sandbox scenarios and capture points in Conquest mode.

Take control of ground vehicles like jeeps or pilot drones with machine guns and explosives. Interactive environments, often reminiscent of living spaces, allow for the destruction of toy brick structures and the creation of chaos in virtual space. The sandbox mode serves as the primary tool for creating user-generated content, allowing you to place units and customize their spawn points to create unique gameplay scenarios.

This title brings plastic soldier conflicts to life with a physics system that controls interactions and destruction. The gameplay allows you to manipulate actions with a slow-motion feature, changing the perception of events during combat. A separate objective-based Conquest requires the team to capture and hold most of the control points on the map.
