Game trailer: GRADIUS ORIGINS
Screenshots
Description
GRADIUS ORIGINS is a dynamic horizontal shooter in which the player controls a spaceship, passing levels with different enemies and obstacles. The project contains both the new part of the series and the original arcade versions of previous titles, which makes it possible to trace the development of the gameplay. Controls include upgrading weapons and using amplifiers, which requires quick reactions and the ability to use resources to overcome complex challenges.
In GRADIUS ORIGINS, gamers are faced with the need to distribute limited opportunities when passing difficult stages. Each level is distinguished by unique enemy attacks and a variety of landscapes, which forces you to adapt and change tactics. Combat clashes require not only powerful blows, but also competent dodging, because success depends on accurate positioning and anticipation of dangers. A variety of modes and options for passing expands the experience and helps to compare changes in mechanics in the series.
The setting of the project takes place in outer space, where the pilot fights waves of enemy forces trying to stop his mission. Enemies use different formations and tactics, starting with simple shots and moving to aggressive maneuvers in later stages. The player is tasked with not only aiming quickly, but also maintaining concentration throughout long fights, which creates a consistent challenge.
