Description
Warnament is a turn-based global strategy game that puts the player in charge of the destiny of an entire nation. Progress is achieved by conquering new territories and steadily developing in the military, technological, cultural or political spheres. It is possible to take part in historical scenarios or create completely original worlds using the built-in editor.
This approach opens the way to campaigns based on real events or to alternative universes of your own design, where each province is governed separately. The global arena in Warnament is shaped by complex diplomacy and the intricacies of statecraft. Rulers declare wars, sign peace treaties, and also enter into pacts and create alliances with other world powers. An individual nation can guarantee the sovereignty of an allied state or forcefully turn another into its vassal.
Economic pressure is applied through the mechanisms of world trade or strangling rivals with sanctions, while allies can be drawn into large-scale international conflicts. Among other things, opponents can be showered with direct insults. The military can include a wide range of units, from infantry to nuclear bombs for total annihilation of the enemy. Fleets of cruisers, battleships and aircraft carriers establish supremacy on the seas, while defensive fortresses protect the homeland. The player has the ability to deploy chemical weapons, acting outside the generally accepted laws of war.

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.

Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like
C:\Games\GameNameusing WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures. -
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main
.exefile) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

New DLC Content Available
This update introduces full support for a new DLC, which adds two unique story-driven scenarios and a brand-new map:
Consequences (1926, Alternate History)
A world struck by global warming far earlier than expected. Rising temperatures devastate provinces and population, forcing you to migrate north in search of survivable land. Explore a new technology branch and try to stop the climate catastrophe before it’s too late.
BTW, the cause of global warming is randomly generated each time. It could be the greenhouse effect, Earth’s core activity, or solar radiation. You won’t know in advance which solution to pursue — you’ll need to read events carefully and adapt your technology choices.
In some cases, the only way to survive solar activity is to trigger a nuclear winter. It may sound absurd at first — but given the circumstances, it might actually be the lesser evil.
Lost
After a crash on an unknown planet, you lead a stranded crew with no ability to recruit armies or build military equipment. Survive with limited forces, defend against hostile locals, and find a way to escape.
This scenario features a completely new planet map, “LP-16.”
How to play the DLC:
Own Warnament in your library and the new DLCStart a new game
In the scenario/map selection:For the global warming scenario, choose map “euro4” and then scenario “Consequences”
For the alien survival scenario, choose map “LP-16” and then scenario “Lost”
Gameplay & BalanceTwo new units introduced:Cavalry — receives a flank attack bonus and can move through two provinces per turn (can do so even when moving next to enemy units).Submarine — deals increased damage to aircraft carriers and battleships, and is immune to long-range naval attacks (for example, battleship salvos). These additions expand tactical options and unit counterplay.Buildings & ProgressionNew building: Stable — required to produce Cavalry units. Added two new technology branches tied to the new units to support progression and unlocking. Interface & UsabilityAdded a tooltip on the current turn: it now mentions a winner will be decided at turn 100, but players can choose to continue the game afterwards.Fixes & PolishFixed an issue with the /generate_translation command when a scenario contained countries without a capital.Various interface and UI bugs were addressed for a smoother experience.
