Magic Inn

Magic Inn begins with an exiled wizard who takes on the role of an innkeeper. The player oversees the entire operation of the customizable magical establishment, managing the menu, guest rooms, and staff activities. Interaction with patrons occurs through a card system that simulates negotiation, attraction, and persuasion. These meetings serve as a mechanism for building relationships with each guest, growing the business over time. The ultimate goal is to fully manage and expand the tavern.

The path to a 5-star rating in Magic Inn requires prudent resource management. Gamers build supply lines with local farmers and trade with merchants, obtaining goods to satisfy customers, including royalty. The rating system can be manipulated: a detective is paid to identify a disguised judge. This inspector's verdict can then be influenced by money or services rendered. The establishment also attracts ghostly visitors who provide rewards for satisfying their needs, adding another layer to the management simulation.

Achieving a 5-star rating unlocks a larger narrative of tragedy and redemption. During the gameplay, the user uses magic spells to help with the tavern business. Progress also involves collecting magical items and creatures from the surrounding world. Having achieved success and accumulated resources, the gamer gains the ability to influence and change the universe. This shift shifts the focus from business management to a story-driven experience, and the game itself is revealed in a new way.
