A Hat in Time

In the 3D platformer A Hat in Time, we will have to play for a girl who looks like and is called Hat Girl. She goes on an interplanetary journey to return home, but ends up in the city of the Mafia. At this location, a Mafioso gets into our ship and completely inspects the ship, but after checking, he scatters time particles, and then spreads them throughout the Mafia planet. Having additionally taken a fee from Hat Girl for crossing state space, we are led to the Mustache Girl, who becomes the antagonist of the game. The whole process is based on collecting time particles that should help us return home, but remember that during the journey through the levels, we will meet enemies that we will have to run with our own strength and skills.

No one will help little Hat Kid. The game has open levels that we can explore without a time limit. The locations are conveniently equipped with objects that we will use to kill enemies, solve puzzles and logical problems. One of the weapons of the Hat Girl will be an umbrella, which will cause the most damage to enemies. The gameplay is based on a standard platformer, only in a 3D shell. We will go to conquer the levels, but in A Hat in Time, a special feature is the fact that you can visit the same location several times before the end of the plot. Thus, each of your actions will be displayed as a problem or a pleasant bonus in the future.

About This Game

The action of the game takes place in a parallel world, in the territory of which there is a place for the manifestation of the magic of other excellent skills, because of what you will not be surprised that the main character communicates very well with time and moreover, in some way is the guardian of this time. The only problem is that not all are friendly towards the girl in the hat and therefore there is a mustache, which immediately breaks the space and time into small pieces, starting to collect them. Your main task is to finally collect all these fragments together, in order to restore the course of time, and also show that you do not need to hurry. Although you do not have to lose time, because if your opponent manages to do this all before you, then the world will be on the verge of danger, especially for some characters of the main character’s friends who can immediately comprehend death.

Gameplay in A Hat in Time is designed to somehow influence the situation with 3D arcade platformers, because really high-quality games in this niche in the daytime with fire you will not find. In the center of the plot of the game is a protagonist named Hat Kid — a young girl engaged in space travel and collecting «Particles of Time». During her return home, a criminal from the City of the Mafia flies to her ship boldly, leaving behind a huge hole in the ship’s hull. Because of depressurization, the «particles of time» leak, and the ship itself makes an emergency landing on the nearest planet. Now the little heroine has to go on a difficult journey, where enemies will be waiting for her, including the main villain in the person of Usata Girl.​
