SIDE EFFECTS

SIDE EFFECTS is a turn-based strategy game where up to four players compete in a deadly medical challenge where only one can survive. Each round, you're forced to consume mysterious pills some heal, others harm, and still others kill instantly, with no predetermined effects. Your resistance meter determines your survival rate; dropping to zero means death, so you need to monitor it carefully. Between rounds, you can choose experimental items, like vaccines or mouth clamps, to tilt the odds in your favor.

The game supports both single-player and multiplayer modes for 2-4 players, creating a tense psychological warfare as opponents bluff and strategize to outlast each other. With over 15 unique items and 6 different types of pills, each match turns into a high-stakes game of medical roulette. Your success depends on your ability to read the situation, manage your resources, and outshine everyone else at the table. This indie game is a unique blend of risk management and player psychology in a twisted clinical setting.
