Live Hard Die Hard

Live Hard Die Hard is a real-time strategy game where soldiers' survival on the front lines becomes as important as destroying the alien invaders. Squad management isn't limited to combat orders; the commander must manage the soldiers' stress levels to prevent panic and abandonment. The wounded must be evacuated to a medical truck for stabilization and subsequent return to duty. Researching and dissecting alien corpses yields samples for developing special skills known as side effects. Additionally, a body augmentation system is featured, expanding human capabilities at the cost of mental stability.

The story unfolds against the backdrop of a sudden alien invasion that has brought humanity to the brink of total annihilation. The player assumes the role of the commander of an elite special forces unit, leading a desperate operation to save civilization. In Live Hard Die Hard, the final objective is to storm the enemy's central command post the Terminal Core. With only four weeks to prepare for this decisive mission, the game creates constant tension and requires careful decision-making at every turn. Victory depends on the ability to manage limited resources and time wisely.

Each week is divided into two key phases: the base management phase and the expedition phase. At the base, resources are collected, technologies are researched, and the strike force, upon which the fate of humanity depends, is assembled. During expeditions, battles unfold in real time, where soldiers act independently, but success depends on well-timed orders. Commanders must issue retreats, call for reinforcements, and deploy artillery strikes with surgical precision to turn the tide of battle and ensure the completion of the assigned objective.
