Sorcerers Servant takes the familiar visual novel style of Anime presentation and wraps it around a genuinely unnerving psychological Horror RPG. The core fantasy is being a student thrust into a secret world of occult power, serving a mysterious master while struggling to maintain sanity and identity. Set within a seemingly normal university, the narrative quickly descends into paranoia and moral compromise, creating a tense atmosphere where the true danger lies not in monsters, but in the power you wield and the secrets you keep.

The unique mechanic is the Sanity Drain meter. Utilizing advanced or forbidden magic abilities accelerates the protagonist's mental decay, triggering random psychological events and negative status effects during combat and dialogue sequences. Managing this drain requires careful consumption of rare restorative items and successful completion of side quests dedicated to emotional grounding. Progression is non linear, dictated by your loyalty score to your sorcerer master; higher loyalty unlocks more powerful dark spells but simultaneously closes off potential alliances with resistance factions.
