Paper Bride 7 Lethal Bond is the seventh part of the horror-puzzle series, the plot of which plunges into the dark secrets of Chinese folklore. The visual component was significantly reworked to achieve a cinematic effect. The level of tension and frightening moments was significantly increased, creating a truly oppressive atmosphere. The narrative is imbued with authentic folk customs, stories about spirits from the afterlife, and rituals associated with paper figurines. The passage process focuses on solving logical puzzles, the complexity of which increases gradually, without creating insurmountable obstacles at the initial stages.

The central event is the wedding ceremony, during which the bride's red dress suddenly transforms into an ominous white paper dress, after which she disappears without a trace. The gamer is controlled by the husband, who is forced to go in search of his beloved. His path runs through a mysterious city that exists on the border of two worlds, and the native village of a missing girl, where he will encounter strange phenomena. In the course of this journey, Qingqing and Tongtung, familiar from the third part of the franchise, will reappear in Paper Bride 7 Lethal Bond, as well as other well-known characters. Revealing the truth will require the study of dark mystical customs and long-forgotten stories.
