Fallen Tear The Ascension is a hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania that seamlessly blends classic platforming with deep Japanese RPG mechanics. The game takes place on the expanses of the fading continent of Raoa, whose dense forests and intricate cave systems harbor numerous secrets. The environment is not a static backdrop, as the landscape continually transforms based on the player's decisions. The game's visuals resemble a living book illustration, and each inhabitant of the universe has a unique, voiced character. Exploring ten interconnected regions requires a constant search for unconventional routes. Overcoming spatial puzzles becomes possible through a gradually expanding arsenal of acrobatic moves, including double jumps and climbing sheer surfaces. Encounters with enemies require careful analysis of enemy behavior patterns.

Success in battle depends directly on the skillful combination of basic attacks. The central figure of the narrative is a young hunter named Hira, desperately trying to recover fragments of a forgotten past. The boy must challenge a maddened pantheon of deities, whose corruption has plunged once-prosperous lands into chaos. Fallen Tear The Ascension involves not only slaying ferocious monsters but also finding loyal companions. Encountered wanderers willingly share their strength, helping overcome challenging obstacles. The integration of elements of Eastern RPGs makes the development process as varied as possible. Deep customization of your companion's parameters allows you to develop a unique style of confronting threats. Every decision you make leaves an indelible mark on the fates of your companions.
