Relic Abyss is an action RPG developed by Reverse Loop that blends Lovecraftian fantasy with medieval sci-fi elements, all wrapped in a deceptively charming art style. Explore a beautiful but dying world consumed by the Abyss, fighting to survive, uncovering the secrets of ancient relics, and meeting other adventurers. The game features 20 unique playable characters, each with access to over 134 unique skills, including ultimate abilities, allowing for a variety of build customization.

About This Game

Gameplay features procedurally generated levels across six stages, a randomized perk system, and a collection of enemy cards for enchanting gear, as well as gear upgrades and a gradual difficulty ramp. A city-building hub serves as your base of operations, where you can train your abilities and prepare for encounters with otherworldly bosses. Notable features include powerful relics to discover, a progression system tied to character evolution, and strategic gear crafting mechanics.

The game emphasizes replayability through procedural generation and a multitude of character variants with diverse playstyles. Composer Bukh Dakanai contributed over 100 minutes of original music on the theme of Positive Depression, with five unique tracks per level. Reverse Loop has created an indie action game that balances casual accessibility with deep RPG systems and atmospheric worldbuilding.
