Belonging to Eunoia is a melancholic third-person adventure focused on exploring a linear and extremely isolated space. The narrative centers on a girl named Xialia, consumed by doubts about the value of her own existence. The protagonist's personal crisis is revealed through interaction with the surrounding world, where every object serves as a metaphor for her depressed mental state. Progressing through surreal locations involves not only contemplation but also the completion of specific tasks:

• searching for 13 authentic letters from real people about the hardships of loneliness;
• solving concise spatial puzzles to open previously closed areas;
• collecting lost objects and valuable artifacts in secluded corners;
• interacting with interactive elements like soap bubbles or candles.

The ending of this story depends entirely on the player's will, determining whether the heroine steps through the gate at the top or finds the strength to turn around. Beneath the superficial image of a majestic arch symbolizing ascent lies a dark undertone of a fateful ending that alters the perception of the entire journey.
