Blood Bear

Blood Bear is a first-person survival horror game. You wake up in an empty state park with no memories of the previous night. Your journal is your main guide, suggesting objectives but offering no definitive answers. You must explore the park, gather supplies, and gradually uncover what happened here. But the park isn't empty cultists roam the forest, and a cursed bear lurks in the shadows.

The gameplay is built around survival: monitor your hunger and stamina, search for food and water. Collect items flashlight batteries, medicine, spare parts, and weapons (axes, shotgun). The bear is virtually invulnerable; direct confrontation with it is risky. The cultists are aggressive, but you can loot useful items from them. Scrap metal can be used to upgrade your flashlight, weapons, and stamina. The map is non-linear, with over 20 unique locations—towers, caves, tourist centers, and altars.

The atmosphere is sustained by light and sound: fog, moonlight, unsettling silence, and sudden sounds roars, footsteps, branches. The music swells in moments of danger. The plot unfolds through cutscenes and recordings, explaining the nature of the curse. Enemies keep you on your toes, but the game offers freedom of exploration.
