Dave EXE

Dave EXE is a single-player comedy horror game in which you assume the role of a nameless microman tasked with stopping a mysterious being called E.D., who has corrupted multiple timelines and frozen them in time. Alongside Guardian Berry and his legion of "Berry Bears," you'll explore various worlds from futuristic cities to medieval settings and 1980s suburbs while emptied vending machines and evading randomly appearing monsters, maps, and events. The "Nothing" serves as your base, where you can accept quests, purchase cosmetic items, and customize your character with collected coins and scrap.

The gameplay loop focuses on evading horror through running, hiding, and interacting with the environment, with a strong emphasis on replayability thanks to procedurally generated elements. You can create different builds using amulets and gadgets to suit different playstyles whether you prefer speed-focused escape, stealthy evasion, or high risk/high reward strategies with difficulty modifiers. The game draws inspiration from asymmetrical horror games, but focuses on single-player play with a comedic edge. Character customization extends to both your microwave protagonist and the enemy skins you unlock. Between missions, you can complete tasks for the denizens of the Void to earn additional rewards and resources.
