Description
The Hive is a very interesting strategy with a mix of role-playing, tactical battles and building a base. A distant planet hidden in space awaits you, the story of a race whose representatives resemble ordinary arachnids, and a fascinating story. The essence of the game is as follows you must lead the race and try to survive in rather dangerous conditions. Conventionally, the entire gameplay can be divided into several parts. The most important thing is to explore the vast open world. You will have to explore the environment, wander through various ruins, search for treasure, extract the necessary resources, fight enemies in various locations, solve puzzles.

About This Game
The second equally important part of The Hive gameplay is the development of your own race and the construction of a base from which everything will start at each new level. You will need to build buildings from mined resources, improve the base, improve buildings, increase building capacity and create units. At the very beginning only five units will be available to you, but after a while you will be able to create twenty or even more units. They will be useful to you in two cases: when you need to defend your own base when attacking enemies, and when you go to explore the world around us.
No less important aspect of the gameplay is solving riddles and solving simple but rather voluminous puzzles. Somewhere you will have to find a way through the labyrinths of ruins, somewhere you will need to understand how to open this or that passage, and somewhere you will have to solve a puzzle in a puzzle style. There are a lot of options, and you definitely won’t be bored.

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.

Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like
C:\Games\GameNameusing WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures. -
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main
.exefile) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Achievements and DifficultyFixed: Game now correctly saves and loads the selected difficulty setting.Fixed: Achievements for completing the game on Hard and Insanity difficulties should now unlock properly once the campaign is completed.Fixed: The Avatar skill and related squad mechanics are now restored, making the \"Play of the Game\" achievement obtainable again.Added extra checks so end game achievements trigger more reliably.Note: Older save files did not store difficulty correctly, so you will need to create new saves or start a new playthrough after updating to 1.306 for these fixes to fully apply. Squad Mechanics and BalanceLegionnaires are restored to a squad of 5 units.Hunters are restored to a squad of 3 units.Population cost has been increased to match the larger squad sizes.
