Dinoblade is an intense action RPG set in a prehistoric world forever changed by a cataclysmic event, one that redefined the very nature of Dinosaurs. Step into the role of a young Spinosaurus, wielding a colossal Great Sword forged from ancient power. Confront rival dinosaurs, some armed with brutal weapons of their own, all in a desperate fight to prevent a looming extinction. Venture across a sprawling world filled with awe inspiring biomes, from dry canyons to dense, mist shrouded jungles. Each region is ruled by a ferocious Alpha, an apex predator who guards the path forward. Defeat them, or be devoured.

About This Game

Every victory unlocks strength. Master new skills, unleash devastating abilities, and forge your own combat style. Chain together powerful combos, time your dodges, rolls, and parries, and discover legendary weapons hidden across the lands. In short, it's an ARPG in which the player takes control of a spinosaurus with a colossal sword. After being defeated, he is saved from death by a mysterious spirit, which merges with the protagonist and now thirsts for revenge. Or salvation. Or both.

In short, it's a fast-paced carnage in which dinosaurs swing hammers, swords, and halberds, leap several meters into the air, cause earthquakes, cast magic, gnaw at each other's necks, spit lightning, and do all this to the sound of heavy metal. If you haven't screamed HELL YEAH yet, your eyes haven't lit up with a primal fire, and Linkin Park's "Somewhere I Belong" hasn't started playing in your head, then perhaps you're not the target audience for this project, and there's little point in reading this review any further. If, like me, any word ending in "-saurus" made your hair stand on end as a kid, then welcome to my review of Dinoblade a game for real tough guys.

To stop the extinction of its species, the Spinosaurus must become the apex predator of the food chain. That means it's time to tear apart every dinosaur on the planet and defeat the alpha predators—especially the large, ferocious, and dangerous lizards. Dinoblade is a linear game that alternates between corridor-based and open-air locations. Each one contains a couple of bosses, several minibosses, a handful of loot, and a couple of secret nooks containing hidden resources for upgrading. Once you've collected all the loot and eliminated the competition, it's time to meet the local prehistoric gym's top muscleman. Repeat until the credits roll.
