Sword and Shield Simulator is a medieval blacksmith simulation from Wildlands Interactive, published together with Ultimate Games S.A. The game puts the player behind the anvil of his own forge and asks him to run it like a real business.

Every station of the smithy matters here. The furnace is loaded first, ore gets smelted, then glowing steel moves to the anvil. Hammering shapes the piece, the grinding wheel puts a proper edge on it, and the chisel handles the fine detail work. Rushing any step shows in the final product, so patience is part of the craft.

The sword designer turns the smithy into a workshop of ideas. Blades, guards, handles and pommels mix into personal creations, from simple soldier steel to showpieces worth a noble purse. Shields are built piece by piece as well, from the boards to the boss, and the small furnace stays busy with horseshoes, scythes and tools.

Quality decides the income. A masterwork blade opens doors that a cheap one never will. Contracts come from customers, goods are traded with merchants around the city, and materials are sourced personally. Mining rock for ore, hunting game, chopping trees and hauling everything back in the cart keep the fires burning.

Outside the smithy a living medieval world waits. Story missions stretch across the map, and the player character levels up with every swing of the hammer. The loop stays honest: craft better, earn better, grow stronger.
