2nd EVE

Three colony ships race toward Proxima B while a shattered Moon falls toward Earth. Inside one of them, aboard the Argos, begins 2nd EVE, a science fiction role-playing game steeped in horror and action. The studio Gamer Cloud both developed and published the project, which arrived in 2026. Players take the role of Sister Zola, an officer, psychiatrist, and nun charged with protecting the minds of sleeping colonists. The voyage into hyperspace will demand more than duty from her.

The jump into the unknown breaks reality itself. Crew members wake changed, corridors twist into new shapes, and whispers leak in from the void between stars. What happened to the Argos must be pieced together from scattered logs, twisted decks, and the few who survived the change. Some can still be saved, while others must be put down. The story treats its darkness seriously and never breaks the spell.

Combat here is deliberate and tactical. Abilities run on cooldowns, positioning decides who lives, and timing separates victory from disaster. Sister Zola answers the horror with faith, new powers, and the staff she carries, facing rogue machines and worse things in the halls of the ship. Every encounter asks when to strike and where to stand. Thought wins more fights than speed in these corridors.

The Argos functions as a hostile maze that shifts around the player. Every deck hides fragments of the disaster, and exploration rewards those who listen to the whispers of the ship. Notes and records deepen the mystery of hyperspace and the devils that found their way through. Venturing further always costs something, which keeps each step meaningful. Fear and curiosity pull in opposite directions on every turn.

Role-playing systems shape the journey as powers and equipment grow with each battle. Development choices decide how the nun survives the abyss, whether through careful defense or decisive force. The horror never steps aside for progression, and the deeper you go, the heavier the pressure becomes. Balancing compassion with survival defines the officer you become. It is a build system with a conscience.

Taken together, 2nd EVE stands out as a dark voyage for players who like their role-playing games tense and strange. It joins tactical fights, unsettling exploration, and a story about duty in the face of the impossible. If you want a science fiction RPG with genuine atmosphere, this ship deserves your boarding.
