BURNED HORIZONS

BURNED HORIZONS is a tactical strategy RPG with a military setting, developed and published by BURNED HORIZONS STUDIO. The year is 2002, the place is Ukraine, and on paper you are the operational lead of a private military company in the theater. On the ground, you are right there in the dust with your team, staging out of a forward bivouac and sorting kit before the next call.

Combat arrives without ceremony. Contact comes at two hundred meters by the tree line, and your team hits the dirt before you finish the thought. This is not the first firefight your squad has walked into, and it will not be the last one that leaves a mark. When the shooting starts, the calls are yours to make, and there are no clean breaks when the firing stops.

The design is built on consequence and persistence. What you decide before a mission shapes how it plays out, and losses carry forward instead of being forgotten. Positioning, timing, and the condition of your gear feed every outcome, so rushed orders tend to cost lives. The game asks you to read the terrain, manage your people, and commit only when the moment is right.

The campaign feels like field reports rather than set pieces. Each operation is one step in a longer arc, with squad members who react, adapt, and remember. There is no respawn safety net here, only preparation and judgement, which gives every engagement weight that outlasts the screen.

The studio develops the project in close contact with its players, refining systems and tuning balance as the work moves forward, and community feedback helps steer the direction. The result is a living tactical experience with the texture of a real deployment. BURNED HORIZONS is a military RPG where every order carries weight and the horizon never stops burning.
