Halloween is an atmospheric horror survival simulator on the Unreal Engine 5 that plunges players into the sinister atmosphere of an American town of the late 1970s. The night that changed everything

The small town of Haddonfield is busy with its usual preparations for the holiday: decorated yards, the laughter of children, the measured life of the townspeople. But the calm is deceptive. As soon as a silent figure in a mask appears on the streets, the familiar world collapses in a matter of minutes. From that moment on, a real struggle for survival begins.

Before each session starts, the participants must decide which side of the conflict to take: become one of the local residents desperately searching for a way to make it until dawn, or take on the role of the relentless maniac hunting his prey without mercy or pause. This choice shapes the strategy of the entire game that follows.

A game of two roles

The asymmetry built into the project makes every match unpredictable. The defending side is forced to search for cover, cooperate with other characters, and invent ways to deceive the pursuer, while the hunter operates differently — using surprise, stealthy movement, and constant psychological pressure on the opponents. This contrast of roles creates tense situations familiar to every fan of classic slasher films.

Visual style and immersion

Thanks to the capabilities of Unreal Engine 5, the developers have recreated the look of the nighttime suburb with high detail: the dim light of the street lamps, the creeping fog, the deep shadows hiding danger around every corner. This visual presentation directly references the legendary film of the late 1970s, conveying its characteristic dark aesthetic in an interactive format.
