About This Game
The main feature of The Messenger is that the hero moves simultaneously in two epochs. One era is represented by 8-bit graphics and corresponding colors, and the other by 16-bit graphics and a wider list of color shades. The bottom line is that in some cases, the player can not see what is visible in the mode of another era. You have to switch between epochs, look for clues, solve riddles and solve physical puzzles. Moreover, in some cases, it is impossible to switch between eras: for example, somewhere you will have to be content with a midge, whose aura transforms a small area around into another era, and somewhere else you will find something even more complex.But not only the switching between eras is the basis of the gameplay. Here you have a part of the role-playing game (leveling the character, mining new skills and techniques, etc.), and stealth (when you need to get somewhere unnoticed), and a quest.
