Description

The new Awakening DLC add-on for Endless Space 2 space strategy will allow players to negotiate with Isander, the leader of the Academy, and contribute to the birth of a new Empire. Also, the addon will bring into the game a fraction of incandescents: an ancient race that was once great, but now their civilization is only beginning to revive after a long decline. In the upcoming DLC, the Academy becomes an interstellar empire.

Its leader will often throw various tasks to the player, offering to help him with research and implement ambitious plans. When negotiating with Isander, developers are advised to carefully consider the consequences of their words and deeds. For help, users will be awarded with unique abilities and advantageous positions, but if at some point they decide to turn away from the Academy, Icander will not be too happy with it.

Key Features

  • The Spear of Isyander is given temporary command of one of the Academy’s two attack Master Fleets, along with the flagship The Colorless Fist.
  • The Master of Dust has the keys to the coffers of the Academy (specifically to the diplomatic reserves) to use as they see fit, plus the ship The Sum of All Pains.
  • The Vault Keeper allows you to pick a political party not currently in your Senate and temporarily make all the party’s laws available to you. The ship «Instrument of the Will» also becomes yours.
  • The Librarian gets access to privileged information, for a price. The questions vary from economic, military, diplomatic, etc. to secrets of the history of the galaxy, and they also receive the ship Warden of Knowledge.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for CODEX

  1. Open the .iso with a virtual drive program (e.g. Daemon Tools) — on Windows 10/11 a double click mounts it on its own.

  2. Install the game by running setup.exe and following the wizard.

  3. After installation, copy the entire contents of the CODEX folder from the disc into the game folder and agree to replace the files.

  4. Start the game through its usual shortcut, preferably as administrator.
