Description

Lakeview Valley — we present to your attention a very bright and fascinating role-playing project in the adventure genre, the events of which will take us to a small American town. Everything here takes its course people work, study, develop and create families, but at the same time, each of them has their own skeleton in a closet that they want to forget about. In the role of the protagonist of the game, you have to act in the person of an ordinary guy who is a local resident of this town. Here you will not have any restrictions at all, so you can safely do whatever you want. For example, you can take the side of goodness, so you can do good deeds, and help people. Or vice versa, you can become cruel, greedy and ruthless. Separately, it is worth noting the pixel retro graphics of old games.

  • Made it so the football gets teleported to a pre-determined position in the next area once it leaves the screen.
  • Drew portraits for all the villager faces you can wear.
  • Fixed the «Fall of morality» achievement.
  • Made it so you lose the Sheriffs trust if you «travel».
  • Fixed the instance that caused Morgo to stop doing what he’s doing on Sunday (you know what I’m talking about).
  • Tweaked a thing that might’ve caused the murdered NPCs to disappear after you killed them and «traveled».
  • Made it so you can still heal yourself at the doctor, even if there’s someone to meet him.
  • Fixed the problem with the pause menu in the underworld.
  • Made it so Morgo should now only focus on the villagers on Sunday.

Key Features

  • A murder mystery waiting to be solved. A dead girl is lying in the street with a confusing history. It’s up to you to solve (or ignore) the main story.
  • Something is lurking in the dark! Nights can be dangerous in the Valley. Defend yourself against horrifying enemies.

  • Re-playable. The game takes over one week which can be wildly different according to the way you play. Try different play styles.
  • Plenty of items, tools and upgrades to help you progress, or to cause mayhem.
  • Over twenty NPCs with schedules for day and night, each with unique backstory. Rise in popularity to dive deeper into their lives.
  • Crime scene system. Sheriff will investigate every night for any mischief. If you’re responsible, make sure not to leave any evidence.
  • Customisable character. Be who you want.
  • Home renovation. Upgrade your surroundings to impress your neighbours. Or to gain a strategic edge.
  • Spiritual successor to the Lakeview Cabin series.

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

  1. No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.

  2. Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.

  3. Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

    v1.03The achievements should work now!Found a reason why Jimmy suddenly disappeared at the arcade cabinet. Added a little fix so it shouldn’t happen with any NPCs anymore. Unless it’s midnight of course.The stage floors quest should now reset if you travelTweaked the pathfinding, it might still cause some slowdown but I’ll keep optimising itFixed Amy’s body not registering to anyones eyes when you drag herFixed the NPCs doing that weird shuffle and then teleporting back to their location.
