Fear the Dark Unknown

Fear the Dark Unknown — is a mix of third-person adventure and horror action with survival elements, where you have to try to survive in the conditions of madness, suffering and pain. Chloe and James are an ordinary couple who have experienced something that nobody wants. They were drawn into the game of Darkness, ended up in a mansion in which Evil excels above Good, and now the couple need to survive, no matter what it costs them. In fact, nothing unusual — the most standard story. But the plot here is not so important — the atmosphere and the gameplay itself are much more important.

This release is standalone. Here are a few of the new features added to the game:

About This Game

The gameplay in Fear the Dark Unknown is such that it will allow you to plunge into the 90s again. As in any other horror of that time, here you will also walk around locations, explore the mansion, survive, shoot at the dead that rebelled and prey on the living, and much more. The atmosphere here is absolutely amazing. But it is based on several directions at once. The dark gloomy rooms with which the Beresford mansion is overflowing, a sea of blood, the dead that attack heroes at the most unpredictable moment, frightening sounds — all this creates an atmosphere in which you inadvertently begin to feel fear and jerk from every creak. Well, plus everything in suspense holds the lack of ammunition typical for a horror in the style of the 90s. Believe me, in this game you can’t just shoot at enemies indiscriminately — you have to save bullets, think what’s better, run away or shoot, and make decisions on which the life of the protagonist will depend.

Well, in addition to everything else, you will certainly appreciate the fact that the mansion here is represented by a fairly large number of rooms, and you will have to explore each of them. Somewhere it will be necessary to solve puzzles, somewhere it will be necessary to search for a key subject, and somewhere it will be necessary to do something out of the ordinary. And believe me, every time the game will throw you more and more surprises.
