Description

Parkitect is an economic simulation of an amusement park with simple graphics, but huge possibilities. Create a park with different attractions, watch your staff and the desires of visitors. Create the coolest and crazy roller coaster, invest in the development of the park, creating a real city, consisting of various attractions. For the successful functioning of the park, ambitions alone will not be enough! It is necessary as soon as possible to embody bold ideas into reality, but this will require money, staff, all kinds of swings, rooms of fear, extreme carousels, rest areas, restaurants with fast food and much more. All these need to be properly spent, and the developers have foreseen this nuance. At the very beginning of the game, the user starts not with an empty pocket.

About This Game

At his disposal will immediately be a certain amount of money, as well as the already rented territory, ready for «settling» with all sorts of cool things. But with such a budget, which is offered by developers, it will not be possible to accelerate much. This is where the need for strategic planning comes into play. Include all your makings of an economist, activate the mode of «manager» in your head and calculate everything to the smallest detail. Each attraction has a set of characteristics and the so-called «popularity». Based on the latter, you can estimate the approximate income derived from a particular type of entertainment.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for P2P Release

No installation is needed — this release is fully pre-installed and ready to play, so you can skip setup wizards and long updates entirely.
Extract the archive (RAR/ZIP) to a short, Latin-only path like C:\Games\GameName using WinRAR or 7-Zip — and never launch the game from inside the archive, as that is the top cause of launch failures.
Launch the game via Run Me!.bat (or the main .exe file) in the game folder. If nothing happens, right-click it and choose Run as administrator.

Having trouble launching the game?

Check these common causes before troubleshooting further.

Install the required runtimes if the game reports a missing DLL or fails to start: Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86 and x64) and DirectX Runtime. If the release includes a Redist or _CommonRedist folder, check it first.

Use a short Latin-only folder path, for example C:\Games\GameName. Avoid Cyrillic characters, very long paths and special symbols.

Version 1.3 + February Build Challengeit only highlights one entry at a time, giving you a better view of the buildvoting or waiting for a few seconds switches to the next entrythe order of entries is somewhat randomized but entries with fewer votes have a higher chance of being shown first, so overall everyones submissions should receive roughly the same amount of visibility, even if you submit quite latethe actual ranking at any point can still be seen on the Workshop
