The Light Remake — a beautiful straightforward first-person quest from an independent developer, designed for an hour of gameplay. Atmospheric, meditative quest about life, death and our place in this world. Explore a mysterious territory filled with various details that shed light on history, simultaneously solving logical problems and studying text messages. One of the main criteria at work was following the original and its atmosphere.

About This Game

Of course, the visual style and the picture itself began to differ, but the developer tried as much as possible to repeat the spirit itself and the original surroundings. Another important task was the creation of musical accompaniment. Since the 2012 version was not commercial, the copyright in terms of music was not respected. In this regard, it was required to create a beautiful original soundtrack that would resemble the style of those tracks that were originally.

Installation Guide

Step-by-step setup process for PLAZA

  1. Mount the .iso image in a virtual drive (Daemon Tools, PowerISO, or the built-in Windows mounting) — or burn it to a blank disc if you prefer the real thing.

  2. Run setup.exe from the mounted drive and install the game like any ordinary Windows program.

  3. Copy everything from the PLAZA folder on the disc into the folder where the game was installed, replacing files when asked.

  4. Launch the game from the desktop shortcut or the installed .exe — always with Run as administrator.

    Update v1.04:- start in windowed mode (in the SaveData file, set _WindowMode to 1)- fixed some enter in the texture- smooth change of LODs of trees and bushes and smooth and disappearance of vegetation in the distance- Intro sound now uses player save- changed some assets- edit text in English localization- corrected a hint for control on the gamepad (there were errors) Update v1.03:-Added brightness setting-Fixed a bug with an electric shield in the lecture room-Added glow effect outside the windows when we are in the building- Moved to the \"Settings\" menu explanations about turning off the Headbob, soft mouse, inversion and center point
